July Update
Greetings and happy summer! A huge thank you to all who came to breakfast and all who ate ice cream, and particularly to the many of you who volunteered to help during Salmon River Days! The winner of our River Trip Raffle was Jeannette Phillips. Congratulations Jeanette! The trip was donated by the KingFisher River Company of Salmon. This important fund raiser was a huge success, and will go a long way in helping us to provide quality medical equipment and services to the community. We look forward to seeing you at the Fair in August, where we again will be selling ice cream in our famous cones and bowls, in addition to delicious scones. There will be another raffle for which you can by tickets at our office in advance or during the Fair days. This time we are raffling a Stihl MS 251 chain saw with an 18inch bar; graciously donated by Cycle Sleds and Saws.
For this fund raiser we need 120 volunteers, so give us a call if you would like to join the team! 208-756-6122. *We now have some funds available for caregivers who could benefit from a short break in the challenging task of caring for a loved one. Please call the office and make an appointment to apply for this assistance. Also, our updated Caregiver List for July is available for pick up in our office. Our Artist of the Month for July is Nick Munning. Nick’s beautiful metal art is on display in our office, at 506 Van Dreff St. Feel free to come by and take a look. Our reception for Nick with be on Tuesday, July 28 from 4-6pm. All are welcome!
A reminder: Our medical equipment, supplies and caregiver support are available to the entire community, free of charge. It is not necessary to be a Hospice patient to avail yourself of our services. Come by, have a cup of coffee and let us know how we can help. That’s what we are here for!
Best,
Liz Armstrong
