April Update

Spring has sprung!  But ours haven’t! That is, the springs on our hospital beds are safe and sound and strong and ready for any community member that may need one to make sleeping more comfortable. We have lots of other medical supplies waiting to meet your needs. We do not require that a person be a Hospice patient in order to borrow our equipment. So come and check us out at 506 Van Dreff, between the hours of 9am and 4pm daily. There is no charge for the items you borrow. We only ask that you return them when no longer needed. (used adult diapers and pads need not be returned) 😊

Another reason that we’d love for you to visit us is that our art show for the month of April is in full swing! We are excited to feature Heidi Messner as this month’s local artist. We will have a “meet the artist” wine and cheese reception   on April 20th, from 4-6pm. Please come and see our facility, learn more about what we do, and meet Heidi. Heidi has agreed to make a donation to Hospice of Salmon Valley if any paintings sell during her exhibit in the month of April.

Our monthly updated caregiver list is now available for pick up here in the office.  On this list is a wide range of available caregivers and agencies. Please come in and pick up a list. Then perhaps you can get some trusted and experienced help as needed , for a little time for yourself to renew and refresh.

If you are a caregiver for a loved one, please remember to find some time for yourself. As a caregiver myself, I know how important it is to have some personal quiet time, and get some rest, as well as to stay in good physical condition in order to be able to meet the demands of full time caregiving.

You are not alone. We have resources to share and you are always welcome to stop by for a cup of coffee and a chat.
