A HUGE THANK YOU FROM HOSPICE OF SALMON VALLEY!!!!

This is truly an amazing community! I’ve only lived here for a year and a half, but as many of you know, I have been on this planet for quite some time, :-) and I have never experienced the kind of generosity and participation of an entire community that you demonstrated by volunteering (120 of you!) and coming by to enjoy our ice cream and scones. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! I am proud to serve you as Director of Hospice of Salmon Valley in this beautiful and unique community. Also thank you for participating in our chain saw raffle, generously donated by Cycles Sleds and Saws. The lucky winner is Dave Baumert. Congratulations, Dave! Dave stated that “Hospice of Salmon Valley has helped his family, and many other families in the community.” He was glad to help by donating to the raffle.

As we get back to our main endeavor; that of lending medical equipment, free of charge, please know that we are currently well stocked with hospital beds, walkers, wheel chairs, toilet risers, adult diapers, bed pads and much more. Come by any time during the week from 9am-4pm, have a cup of coffee and let us know how we can help.

Our September Caregiver List has been updated, and our Emergency Caregiver fund can be used at any time to give you a respite break from your duties of caring for a loved one. Call me for more information, please. 208-756-6122.

Our Artist of the month program is in full swing. This month we are featuring beautiful paintings ( landscape and still life) by Nancy Super. We will have a reception for Nance on September 21, from 4pm-6pm. All are welcome.
